This training capsule will introduce you to the life cycle analysis of building systems, a key concept for implementing circularity strategies right from the project development phase.

With this Rooftop, you will understand how to quantify the embedded carbon of materials without losing its relationship with CO2 emissions throughout their useful life and consider the relationship with other criteria such as product quality and costs.

We will analyze cases of projects under circular design criteria that have helped build, generate less impact, and provide socio-environmental benefits at other scales. In addition, we will consider current mandatory requirements, such as the new 2030/2050 policies and targets, to reduce the construction industry’s impact on climate change.
